Shade Systems completes massive vehicle parking shade project
Shade Systems™ is proud to announce the completion of its vehicle shading project for Mercedes Benz of Oklahoma City at their new dealership located in Edmond, Oklahoma. The Shade Systems team was responsible for designing, engineering, manufacturing, and installing the shade structures and their canopies, including all concrete foundations.
The $1.5 million project features Shade Systems Arched Single and Double Cantilevers along with Mega Span designs to provide hail and sun protection for the dealership’s valuable vehicle inventory. The shade structures provided total 128,000 square feet of protection for over 700 parked vehicles.
Each structure features our remarkable CoolNet™ fabric together with our patented Turn-N-Slide™ easy canopy removal and re-attachment system built right in, making canopy removal by maintenance staff easy if required. The cleverly concealed electrical housings provide easy access for vehicle charging stations as well as night lighting for a welcoming shopping experience after the sun goes down.
