City of Miami Beach gets new ‘Sail’ shade canopies
Shade Systems™ is proud to announce the completion of its latest playground shading project for the City of Miami Beach. The City contracted with Shade Systems to design, manufacture, and install this complex multi-layered ‘Sail’ canopy system over the existing playground at South Pointe Park, an extremely high-profile location in full view of approaching cruise ships as they enter the Port of Miami.
The City selected Shade Systems to undertake this complicated shading project due to the Company’s technical capabilities in designing, engineering, manufacturing, and installing a canopy system of this complexity. The City also relied on its past experiences with Shade Systems, as the Company has successfully provided numerous similar shade structures throughout the City of Miami Beach.
The City’s Parks Department staff has an ongoing program of providing shade in public areas to reduce the occurrence of dangerous sun exposure for its residents. Mr. Carlos Da Cruz, the City’s Project Manager, expressed complete satisfaction with the Shade Systems team for a “job well done.”
