Shade Systems™ completes major vehicle shading project
Shade Systems is proud to announce the successful completion of its major vehicle parking shade project at the new Consolidated Rental Car Facility at the Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
This massive $1.9 million project encompasses over 180,000 s.f. of Shade Systems’ Single and Double Cantilever designs with CoolNet™ shade canopies to protect hundreds of parked vehicles from the sun’s dangerous U.V. rays as well as hail damage. The Shade Systems team was responsible for designing, engineering, manufacturing, and installing the shade structures and their canopies, including all concrete foundations. The shade structures include the unique Shade Systems patented Turn-N-Slide™ easy canopy removal and re-attachment system built right in, making canopy removal by maintenance staff easy when required.
The prime contractor, Manhattan Construction Co., as well as the airport authority, expressed complete satisfaction with Shade Systems as it completed the project on budget and on schedule.
