Fabric Canopies Blend with Nature in Pacific Northwest

Shade Systems™ is proud to have designed and manufactured a custom Multi-Level ‘Sail’ shade for the City of Grants Pass, Oregon.  The imaginatively layered fabric canopies provide a shaded viewing area at Riverside Park along the beautiful Rogue River.

Riverside Park is the pride of the Grants Pass Parks system. The park features beautiful pacific northwest scenery, including frontage on the Rogue River, a spray park, playground, rose garden and lots of grass areas for picnics and play.

City staff wanted a fabric shade system that would provide sun protection, but also blend well with the natural beauty of Riverside Park.  To meet the City’s needs, the Shade Systems team designed 2,784 square feet of shade protection using alternating layers of canopies typical of its Multi-Level ‘Sail’ designs.  The Brick Red CoolNet™ fabrics used blend seamlessly with the changing of the leaves in autumn, and a highly durable Jet Black powder coat frame finish ensures long-term durability.  Metal components also include electrical outlets and lighting for nighttime use.
