Shade Systems^™ provides shades for the Alameda Spray Park in New Mexico.

Shade Systems is proud to be the shade manufacturer of choice for the park planning staff at Bernalillo County for the Alameda Spray Park in New Mexico. The shades were installed on budget and on time – just in time for a hot summer!

In the past, the County had used metal structures for sun protection, but decided to upgrade to these beautiful Single Cantileversfrom Shade Systems in vibrant colors.  After consulting with the Shade Systems team, the Bernalillo County park planners realized fabric shade cools the air better than solid structures which trap rising heat.  They chose the Single Cantilever design from Shade Systems since support columns are to the back of the structure, leaving unobstructed open space near the water play areas for added safety.

The County selected Shade Systems after learning about our quality features, benefits, and warranties.  For example, the County cited our remarkable Turn-N-Slide^TM easy canopy fastening system as a key feature since it allows park staff to easily remove the canopies when the water attractions are not in use, thereby extending each canopy’s life. Re-attachment is likewise very easy, as shown on the Turn-N-Slide instructional video.
