Miami Beach, FL – August 29, 2011 - At the southern most tip of Miami Beach, and facing the blue-green waters of the bay and exclusive Fisher Island, lies scenic South Pointe Park. 
Shade Systems is proud to announce it has provided one of its innovative ‘Sail’ shade systems for the City of Miami Beach at their newly renovated South Pointe Park playground, an ultra high-profile location, in full view of cruise ships entering and leaving the Port of Miami.
Municipal staff selected Shade Systems for this high-profile project based on several criteria. These included Shade Systems’ extensive experience designing and constructing similar projects as well as its proven track record in providing ‘Sail’ systems designed to make it easy for park staff to remove and then re-attach their canopies in the event of hurricane.
