King Kamehameha School in Hawaii gets a new Shade Systems^™ Mega Span!

Shade Systems is proud to have provided one of its signature Mega Span shade structures to the King Kamehameha III Elementary School in Hawaii to shade their children’s playground.

Hawaii is known as the “Paradise of the Pacific” because of its exotic flowers, beaches with palm trees, and beautiful mountains. But its year round warm weather also includes a lot of hot sunshine complete with dangerous U.V. rays which can damage children’s delicate skin and ultimately cause skin cancer.

The parents and administration at the King Kamehameha III Elementary School wanted sun protection for their children on the playground, so they turned to Shade Systems. Together with its dealer in Hawaii, K-Deck Canvas, the expert shade design team at Shade Systems proposed a complete Mega Span shade solution to cover the playground and eliminate up to 99% of the sun’sdangerous U.V. rays!
